New Country Manager for HD Forest Latvia

On the 5th of September Janis Vuguls will start as our new country manager for HD Forest in Latvia. The position has been vacant since April 2022, when the previous country manager left. HD Forest director, Morten Thorøe, is therefore happy to announce his new Country Manager:

“I am looking forward to welcome Janis Vuguls as the head of Latvian operations. We have grown significantly in Latvia during the recent years, and we have ambitious plan for our future operations. Janis will be an instrumental part in realizing our growth and development in the years to come.”

Janis Vuguls is eager to take up his new position:

Janis Vuguls has a background in forestry, where he has held several positions. He has been involved in the woodworking industry, in harvesting operations and most recently in research at the Latvian State Forest Research Institute. Furthermore, Janis Vuguls has held various position in the sports industry in Latvia, most notably as the director of the professional football club FK Jelgava.
