Lithuanian wood processing industries continue investments

The Lithuanian timber industry continues to invest in new capacity as several new investment projects are under way. 

HD Forest has colleced the basic information of some of the current plans to expand capacity and move into further value adding in the wood processing industries in the country

These investments total close to 500 million EUR to be invested over the next approx three years.

A strong local Wood market is a significant benefit for the forest owner in Lithuania as well as the rest of the Baltics. The ongoing investments by the Ltihuanian timber industry is a sign of the continued commitment to this sector by a large number of national and international players.
